Highlighting Our Summer ’17 Interns
SCEG would like to congratulate our 2017 summer interns on all their hard work! They have been working directly as draftsmen while improving their AutoCAD and Revit knowledge. As they continue working alongside our Designers we wanted to personally highlight our 5th year summer intern veteran Adam Wrinkle. Adam is looking forward to graduating from Purdue University with a Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering in May of 2018. His interest in Mechanical Engineering sparked in High school when a Mechanical Engineering Student from Cal Poly San Louis Obispo spoke to his AP Chemistry class. Adam was fascinated and felt his skills were perfect for that career. Eager and ready to learn, Adam sought out an internship with SCEG when he was only 17 years old and has applied every summer since. Adam’s projects this summer have included design work on a single family residence, tenant improvement to a commercial kitchen and HVAC design work for an Equinox fitness club. SCEG has proudly been able to help him develop his engineering skills and watch as Adam has grown from a high school summer intern to what can only be described now as a member of our SCEG team. Congratulations Adam on all your success and welcome to the world of Engineering.
