Hybrid Workplace:
Full Time, Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Fridays 8 a.m. – noon.
Up to 3 days per week remote after a 90 day probationary period.
All employees must work in-person at least 2 days each week.

Responsibilities:
Candidates should have experience in the following areas plus the desire to learn and work with a team.

Developing and maintaining strong relationships with our Client-Partners
-
Representing SCEG in correspondence, online and at in-person meetings
-
Managing client expectations while delivering projects on-time
-
Inspiring a team of mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineers and designers
-
Maintaining project schedules by planning and scheduling deadlines in Deltek Ajera
-
Maintaining and following up on project task lists.
-
Assisting in the preparation of proposals and additional fee requests.

Performing on site evaluations and writing reports
-
Collecting and analyzing information.
-
Designing lighting, power and low voltage systems
-
Calculating loads, performing short circuit studies and energy analysis
-
Selecting and specifying electrical equipment
-
Laying out and sizing distribution systems
-
Preparing construction documents with the help of designers and draftspersons
-
Performing QA/QC and ensuring that it occurs at all levels
-
Coordinating with building departments, clients and other project team members
-
Reviewing contractor’s equipment submittals and RFI’s
-
Making field observations and reporting
-
Participating in industry trade organizations
-
Managing multiple projects and clients simultaneously
-
Solving problems as they occur with minimal assistance
Requirements:
This position is exclusively available to a self-motivated, growth oriented, professional with a demonstrated ability to build and maintain a client base.

B.S. degree in a related field required, AEBT accredited BSEE preferred
-
Professional Engineer preferred
-
7+ years’ experience designing electrical systems for commercial, industrial and institutional buildings required

AutoCAD skills required, Revit skills preferred
-
Proficient in the use of Energy Pro; Easy Power and other industry standard electrical engineering software required

Excellent English communication skills, written and verbal required

Outstanding organizational abilities required

At least three references from clients or senior managers regarding applicant’s project management abilities required

Compensation:

$95,000-$135,000 per year based on experience
