Hybrid Workplace:

Full Time, Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Fridays 8 a.m. – noon.

Up to 3 days per week remote after a 90 day probationary period.

All employees must work in-person at least 2 days each week.

Responsibilities:

Candidates should have some level of experience in the following areas plus the desire to learn and work with a team.

  • Designing and drafting redline mark-ups of electrical systems

  • Calculating loads, performing energy analysis, and short circuit studies

  • Laying out and sizing distribution systems

  • Designing lighting, power and low voltage systems

  • Selecting and specifying electrical equipment

  • Coordinating with building departments, clients and other project team members

  • Reviewing contractor’s equipment submittals and RFI’s

  • Making field observations and reporting

Requirements:

This position is available to a self-motivated, growth oriented, professional seeking a flexible environment and rewarding opportunities.

  • 1-3 years’ experience designing mechanical, plumbing or electrical systems for commercial, industrial and institutional buildings

  • Excellent AutoCAD skills required, Revit skills preferred

  • Proficient in the use of Energy Pro, Easy Power and other industry standard electrical engineering software preferred

  • Excellent English communication skills, written and verbal

  • Outstanding organizational abilities

  • Bachelor’s degree required, BSEE preferred

Compensation:

  • $32-$38/hour based on experience
