The Getty is a leading global arts museum located in Los Angeles, CA. The museum highlights paintings by many famous artists including Vincent Van Gough, Claude Monet, Bernado Daddi, and Jean-François Millet.
The ventilation and air conditioning systems are extremely important in the galleries that this artwork is showcased in. However, what is often overlooked and equally as important is the ventilation and air conditioning systems in the rooms where these priceless items are stored while they aren’t on display.
SCEG designed low temperature refrigeration systems for the photography storage rooms including vestibules, viewing rooms and transition spaces. In addition to separate color and black-and-white storage projects, SCEG also designs mechanical, plumbing and electrical systems for an offsite archival storage facility.
