Santa Monica Swim Center is located in the heart of Santa Monica, California, and is open to the public for a variety of activities. The center offers swim classes, training programs, water aerobics classes, lap swimming, and a meeting room for birthday parties.
At the swim center, there are two open-air pools for recreation. Improvements to this facility centered on its 50 meter x 25 yard competition pool and its 25 meter x 25 yard recreational pool. The goals included extending the life of the equipment and improving performance to maintain chemistry and temperatures at critical levels. For this project, SCEG was the prime consultant and provided mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineering services as well as project management.
