Universal Studios Plaza was an expansion project in 2012 at Universal Studios Hollywood. This project included a central area in the park and multiple restaurants.
The central area of the Plaza supported a massive pop-jet water fountain. This central feature could be a visual experience, a place to play, a gathering place or even a theater for special events like the Grinch at Christmas time. The food service included Pink’s Hot Dogs, the Plaza Grill and a complete renovation of the iconic Mel’s Diner. SCEG designed the HVAC, plumbing, and electrical engineering for this project.
